Happy Holidays from Pittsburgh Dentist

Happy Holidays from Pittsburgh Dentist

Our staff here at Pittsburgh Dentist want to take this opportunity to wish you a happy holiday season! We sincerely hope you’re enjoying the holidays and we want you to know that we appreciate you choosing us for your dental needs this year, and we look forward to serving you into the new year and beyond!

As a local business in Wexford, Pittsburgh, one of our pride and joys is being able to create beautiful smiles for families such as yours residing in Pittsburgh and surrounding areas.

Dental Health for the Holiday Season

The holidays are a time when most of us let go and give ourselves permission to get a little crazy. We eat junk food, we drink alcohol, we may even forget to engage in some of those all-important habits essential for our dental health, like flossing or brushing (hopefully not).

However, it’s prudent of you not to abdicate responsibility in this area. It doesn’t take a lot of time being “off the wagon” for those kinds of careless actions to become habits. So try not to let the holiday season be an excuse for you to slack off on your dental health practices.

Ensure That You Keep up the Pace

Continue brushing and flossing daily, eat healthy foods, drink enough water, maybe even book an appointment before the holidays to ensure everything is in working order in regards to your oral hygiene.

This is an especially good idea if you know you will be consuming a lot of foods that aren’t very healthy, which most people do this time of year.

The Idea is to just exercise a little prudence so that you can avoid unnecessary dental problems (such as cavities) in the new year.

Don’t Forget to Have Fun

Keeping up with your dental health is crucial, and it should not be an afterthought that falls by the wayside. However, don’t drive yourself crazy trying to monitor every detail of this area. Remember that it is the holidays after all! Relax, unwind, and don’t forget to have some fun!

Give the Gift of Dental Health

We want to wish you a happy new year and an amazing holiday season! If you have any questions or would like to get a checkup before the holidays, we are open four days a week, accepting emergencies and also video consultations.

Additionally, we will be accepting new patients in the new year, so please don’t hesitate on referring us to any of your friends and family for their dental needs.

Happy holidays!
